What constitutes good advice and bad advice?  The Following is the overall evaluation criteria I've utilized when reviewing any products...

  • GOOD ADVICE:  The very best relationship advice a person can receive is that which empowers them.  The products I've rated highly, enable people to develop a greater understanding of how they are being in the context of your relationships.   As Law of Attraction Followers, we believe developing an understanding of  yourself as the ultimate creative force in your life is the most empowering bit of knowledge you can obtain.   • USELESS ADVICE:  Let me tell you there's a lot of crap out there.  The "Save Your Marriage" products we found the least value in, are those which focused on the singular, emotionally-charged goal of helping you get your partner back.  This advice has a "how can I get him/her to stay under any means necessary" mentality.  Such books focus on telling you how to get your partner to become willing to work things out.  Inherently, this means learning how to manipulate your partner's behavior and the situation so it begins to suit your needs.  There are two problems with this take on how to save your marriage:  
    •   FIRSTLY,  This sort of thinking can't possibly help you to take responsibility for yourself or enable you to understand yourself in the context of the relationship. After all the law of attraction implies inherently that the answers lie within doesn't it??   
    • SECONDLY, this sort of advice perpetuates an understanding of life that is counter to the teachings of the law of attraction.  The crux of this sort of advice is that the problem and solution are external to you.  This thinking bears not one bit of acknowledgment to the thoughts are things notion!
